Huntingburg crash injures 2July 5, 2014

HUNTINGBURG — Both drivers complained of pain after a Thursday-evening crash on Van Buren Street.
A 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Jamie R. Dickens, 38, of Grandview was parked in the northbound lane of travel in the 900 block of Van Buren Street when the accident occurred at 6:30 p.m., according to the Huntingburg Police Department.
Police who did not expound on why Dickens was parked in the travel lane said her PT Cruiser was struck by a northbound 2003 GMC Sonoma pickup truck driven by Thomas J. King, 70, of 420 N. Jackson St.
Dickens suffered a head and neck injury and was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in Jasper, police said.
Authorities said King complained of head pain.
Both vehicles were totaled.
Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted.
