Huntingburg council to meet Friday

From Local Sources

HUNTINGBURG — The Huntingburg Common Council will meet Friday afternoon to take care of matters it could not address at Tuesday‘s meeting because a majority of the councilmen were not able to attend.

Friday’s meeting will start at noon in the council chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 508 E. Fourth St.

The council will consider approving a contract with Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group of Indianapolis. If approved, the firm will update the city’s comprehensive plan and create a unified development ordinance, which will include updating and combining the city’s zoning and subdivision ordinances.

Council members will also consider approving last month’s meeting minutes and claims, which are standard procedures.
