Huffing report leads to court date

JASPER — A Wednesday report of a man thought to have been huffing behind a fast food establishment on the city’s south side resulted in a court date.

The Jasper Police Department responded to the 12:39 p.m. call and made contact with Timothy S. Keller, 52, Loogootee.

After investigating, police have Keller a citation indicating he was being preliminarily charged with a misdemeanor count of inhaling toxic vaports. He was released after being given a future court date.

At 2:22 p.m., Keller, who had been on work release, was booked into the Dubois County Security Center for violating the terms of his work release agreement.
