Hubert Lindauer 100, Dale, died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Professional Care Rehabilitation Center in Dale.
He was born in Dale on Oct. 14, 1912, to Simon and Rosina (Geesken) Lindauer. His wife, the former Lolomi Ludwig, died in 1988.
Surviving are daughter Mary Begle and husband Dennis of Dale; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, an infant, Eugene Lindauer, and Dr. David Lindauer; two sisters; and four brothers.
Mr. Lindauer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale and the Holy Name Society. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked for Winkler Wholesale in Dale. He enjoyed gardening and tending roses.
The funeral will be at 10 CDT Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. CDT Thursday at Fuller Funeral Home in Dale.
