How much screen time is too much?February 24, 2020
DUBOIS — Screen Time: Why Does It Matter will be presented at 6 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the Dubois County Branch Library, 5506 E. Main St. Parents and other concerned adults are invited to attend.
Kara Glendening, Memorial Hospital and Health Care Counseling Center’s licensed clinical social worker, will discuss screen time for children in today’s world.
She will talk about both the positives and negatives of screen use, as well as, guidelines to follow for appropriate screen usage and respectful online communication. Other topics will include how screen time can affect sleep and physical and emotional health, with time for questions at the end of the program.
