INDIANAPOLIS — State Sen. Erin Houchin. R-Salem, has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray, R-Martinsville, to serve on five committees during the 121st Indiana General Assembly.
Houchin will serve as ranking member of the Senate Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy and as a member of the Senate Committees on Commerce and Technology; Elections; Family and Children Services; and Utilities.
“As the voice of Senate District 47, I look forward to continuing to advocate for my constituents while serving on these committees,” Houchin said. “Throughout the 2019 session, I will continue to fight the drug epidemic and improve Indiana’s foster-care system, as well as address other issues that are important to residents of southern Indiana.”
