HUNTINGBURG — Beginning Monday, Memorial Hospital’s Alternate Screening Site in Jasper will close and the screening operations for COVID-19 will be directed to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s Urgent Care Center, located at 507 E. 19th Street in Huntingburg.
Urgent Care Center is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., excluding holidays. The hours for Memorial Day are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The hospital asks that all patients call Urgent Care Center at 812-683-4717 prior to your visit to receive instructions about your appointment and to pre-register. To ensure patients’ safety, all patients experiencing COVID-19 symptoms will be separated from everyone else. You may also be asked to wait in your car until you are ready to be seen by a provider.
Masks are required for all visits to Urgent Care Center, and the hospital asks that you continue to practice good hand hygiene prior to and during your visit.
