Hospital brings stroke education to ball game

HUNTINGBURG — Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, in partnership with University of Louisville physicians, will sponsor Strike Out Stroke during the Dubois County Bomber’s game at League Stadium on Sunday, July 21. The game begins at 6 p.m. General admission is $5. Children younger than age 6 are admitted free.

Strike Out Stroke is a national stroke awareness campaign that takes place at major and minor league baseball games across the country. The mission is to educate the public on the signs and symptoms of stroke to greatly increase the number of stroke survivors who get to the hospital in time to get life-saving treatment.
