Avery Niehaus, 8, of St. Anthony, pauses to think while doing math homework with the help of her grandmother, Martha Niehaus of Bretzville, at the Ferdinand Branch Library on Monday. Every week, the two get together while Martha does her own paperwork and helps Avery with her homework. Martha enjoys the quality time with her grandchildren. "I just love it, just to be with them," Martha said.
