JASPER — A participant in a Dubois County Community Corrections program was accused of a new drug offense today.

The Jasper Police Department was called to respond to a drug complaint at the community corrections center at 257 Brucke Strasse at 5:03 a.m.

Chelsea N. Hager, 22, 633 W. Ninth St., Ferdinand, had come to the corrections center for a drug screen and, while there, a small plastic bag containing methamphetamine fell out of her pocket, authorities allege.

Hager was taken next door to the Dubois County Security Center and booked on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of possession of methamphetamine.
