Holland releases cleanup specifics

HOLLAND — The Town of Holland has released specifics about this weekend’s spring cleanup days.
The event is for Holland residents only and participants must have a paid Holland sewer bill to leave items at the wastewater lagoon site a half-mile west of Holland off County Road 900S.
The site will be available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The cost is $10 for a full pickup load or $5 for a half-pickup load.
No hazardous materials such as paint or other chemicals will be accepted. Freezers, coolers, refrigerators, air conditioners and other similar items must be free of Freon.
Help is available to the elderly or differently abled by calling Town Hall at 812-536-3640. Please call a few days before the event so arrangements can be made for assistance.
