Holland firefighters tackled Stendal grass fire

STENDAL — Members of the Holland Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire in Stendal Monday afternoon.
The 2:54 p.m. callout to the 10000 block of Potker Street occurred when a controlled burn spread to surrounding grass, according to Fire Chief Adam Chambers.
An area less than a half-acre burned.
Two trucks and five firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
