Holland firefighters answer residential alarm

From Local Sources

HOLLAND — Units of the Holland Volunteer Fire Department responded to a residential alarm activation Friday evening at a house south of Holland.

There was no fire associated with the 6:18 p.m. callout to the Pearl Hagemeyer home at 6953 W. 1025S, according to Fire Chief Adam Chambers. Instead, he added, smoke from cooking activity triggered the alarm.

One truck and 10 firefighters were on the scene 10 minutes.
