Huntingburg resident Dave Johnson, an employee of Jasper Lumber, worked to reconstruct the Alexander Schoolhouse on Tuesday at its new location next to the Schaeffer Barn near the Riverwalk in Jasper. The building was previously located in Madison Township. A new foundation was built for the building at the new location, and the crew began setting the building's walls Tuesday.

Scott Friedman of Celestine worked to reconstruct the Alexander Schoolhouse on Tuesday.
