Hickman to lead county Chamber
February 16, 2021By Herald Staff

The Dubois County Chamber of Commerce has hired Becky Hickman as its new executive director.
"In addition to Becky's passion for Dubois County and its continued growth, she brings a tremendous amount of experience, leadership, and drive to the Dubois County Chamber of Commerce," said Board President Matt Krieg. "As our organization, as well as many other organizations and businesses around us, rebound from the effects of the pandemic, Becky is perfectly suited to help guide the chamber and serve its members with much needed growth, collaboration, networking, and mentorship opportunities. We are excited to have her on board."
Hickman has worked in Dubois County for the past 30 years, 19 of those at German American where she was Director of Learning and Development. She brings a vast problem-solving, training, and facilitation set of skills to the chamber, as well as past professional experiences and community engagement opportunities that are deeply rooted in and around Dubois County.
"I look forward to working with the members and the chamber's board of directors to take this organization to the next level," Hickman said. "I will strive to be the resource for our membership as it relates to networking opportunities, helping promote their businesses, and sharing educational opportunities."
