HHHS sets meeting for juniors, parents

LINCOLN CITY — The Guidance Department at Heritage Hills High School will host an informational session for juniors and their parents at 6:30 p.m. CT Monday, Jan. 28, in the auditorium.

“Senior Year 101” will provide important information for the juniors as they prepare for their senior year and for life after high school. Topics addressed will include diploma requirements, senior scheduling, dual credit, Advanced Placement, testing, scholarships and financial aid, applications and transcripts.

A presentation will be given about the S2C School to Career Program at Heritage Hills and also the special programs offered only to seniors, including Work Based Learning (internships), health careers, education professions, Ivy Tech welding, industrial maintenance programs, and the many career and technical electives offered on campus.

Regardless of a student’s plans after high school, this program has something for everyone. It is imperative that each student and a parent or guardian attend. Sophomores and their parents also are welcome to attend. Questions may be directed to the guidance office at 812-937-2400.
