Here To Lift You Up

Sophia Rankin of Jasper, 5, ran under a parachute as her peers and members of the Jasper High School dance team raised the fabric during Community CHEW on Thursday afternoon at Jasper Middle School. Community CHEW — Child Hunger Ending Workshop — is a nonprofit organization that offers a hot meal and afternoon of activities to food-insecure students in Greater Jasper and Holy Trinity Catholic schools. On July 6, Community CHEW is inviting U.S. service members both present and past to attend the CHEW event so students who participate in the program can learn about the importance of serving others by serving the service members lunch. Service members should arrive at JMS at noon and enter through Door 1.
