Helming appointed to credit union committee

Chad Helming of Jasper has been appointed to serve on the Hoosier Hills Credit Union Supervisory Committee. His term will begin Jan. 1.

A manufacturing engineer at Kimball Electronics in Jasper, Helming and his wife have five children. He worked for MasterBrand Cabinets in multiple engineering roles for more than 20 years and is a co-owner of his family’s plumbing, heating and air conditioning company. Helming holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Indiana State University and has been a Hoosier Hills Credit Union member for more than 10 years.

Helming’s community involvement includes serving as a girls softball coach and boys assistant baseball coach in Ireland as well as being a trustee and treasurer for the Portersville Cemetery Committee. He also is a member of the Indiana Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors.
