Helen Shipman, 89, French Lick
January 8, 2021Helen Shipman, age 89, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on January 6th, 2021 at Mitchell Manor in Mitchell, Indiana.

She was born in Martin County, Indiana on April 5th, 1931 and the fourth child of Stephen and Hazel (Terry) Pridemore.
Helen married Luther C. Shipman on June 15th, 1951 and he preceded her in death on March 21st, 2020.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; (2) Brothers – Paul and Steve Pridemore; and (3) Sisters – Mary Strange, Wilma George and Margaret King.
Helen was a 1949 graduate of Shoals High School, a member of Paoli Wesleyan Church and a homemaker.
Helen is survived by: (3) Sons Brian Shipman (Diana) Paoli, Indiana, Jeff Shipman (Brenda) French Lick, Indiana, Johnny Bill Shipman (Michelle) French Lick, Indiana, (1) Daughter Connie Main (Rick) Salem, Indiana, (7) Grandchildren, (16) Great-Grandchildren.
A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10th, 2021 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana.
We ask that all who attend please comply to social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering while paying your respects at the graveside ceremony.
