Helen “Hedy” Mueller Weaver, 93, of New Albany, formerly of French Lick, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2019, at Lincoln Hills Health Care in New Albany.
She was born in Orange County on October 18, 1926, to Alfonse “Dutch” Mueller and Gladys (Galloway) Mueller Newlin.
Hedy was proceeded in death by her parents and one siste, Billie Mayhugh.
Hedy was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Springs Ladies Group and Psi Iota Psi. She was a Republican Precinct Committeeman.
She is survived by two sons, Martin Weaver (Jane Craney), Martinsville and Eric Weaver, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Amelia Goffinet (David), New Albany; four grandchildren, Andy Weaver, Ben Weaver (Heather), Anastasia (Goffinet) Herget (Brandon) and Sam Goffinet (Kayla); and 7½, great-grandchildren
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by Rev. Terry Pinnick on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 19, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
