JASPER — One driver complained of pain after a pickup-versus-passenger-car collision early Sunday afternoon at Leslie Drive and Reyling Drive.
Trey A. Collon, 23, Jasper, was northbound on Leslie Drive in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado at the time of the 12:05 p.m. accident, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Collon told police he did not see a westbound 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Lizzeth M. Ayala, 22, Huntingburg, because of heavy rain at the time.
Police said Collon pulled into the intersection and his truck struck the driver’s side of the Ayala Toyota.
Ayala complained of left shoulder pain but did not get transported from the scene, according to police.
Damage was estimated at $4,000 to the Ayala Toyota and $1,000 to the Collon Chevrolet.
An officer cited Collon for failure to yield the right of way.
