Health dept still taking face mask donations

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department continues to collect donations of homemade, cloth face masks.
Donations should be placed in the drop box located inside the double doors at the health department — 1187 S St Charles St, Jasper — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
"Thank you for your continued support and generosity in helping keep our community safe!" a health department press release states.
Dubois County’s COVID-19 case count remains at 16.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 259 tests. Of those, 225 were negative and 12 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 431 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 12,097. A total of 630 Hoosiers have died from the virus.
