Melvin Schnell of Celestine bales hay near his home on Wednesday. Schnell said baling on hills is tough because he can only release the bales on flat ground. “Hills take forever,” he said. Though he acknowledges the challenge, he loves being outside in the fresh air. “You can’t ask for a better day than today,” he said.
