Harold Combs, 90, Paoli
October 9, 2019Harold Combs, 90, of Paoli, entered into eternal rest at Springs Valley Meadows on Monday, October 7, 2019.

He was born April 16, 1929, in Happy, Kentucky, to John Henry and Bertie Combs. He married Mae Gresham on December 26, 1951.
Harold was proceeded in death by his parents; one brother, Grant Combs Jr.; one sister, Ethel Vernon; and one nephew, Willis “Junior” Vernon.
Harold was a member of the Springs Valley Nazarene Church, American Legion Post #76, and was a Korean Army Veteran in the Signal Corp.
He enjoyed camping, traveling and being outdoors.
Harold is survived by his wife, Mae Combs, Paoli; two sons, Bill Combs, Paoli, and Rick Combs, Bedford; one daughter, Sharon Burton, Fort Myers, Florida; six grandchildren, Amber Burton, Cory Combs, Ryan Burton, Cody Combs, Jonnie Combs and Dominic Combs; and two great-grandchildren, Harper Combs and Will Bartels.
Cremation was chosen with a private burial to be held at Ames Chapel Cemetery on a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service, French Lick.
