Harassment complaint leads to arrest

HUNTINGBURG — An investigation into a Friday night harassment complaint ended with a man’s arrest Sunday.

The Huntingburg Police Department investigated the complaint and then alleged John M. Davis II, 29, 514 E. Fifth St., Huntingburg, had been messaging the female complainant via social media in violation of an active protective order.

Authorities booked Davis into the Dubois County Security Center at 6:20 p.m. Sunday on a preliminary misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy.
