Hanebutt earns bachelor’s, starts career in radiologyMay 22, 2019
HUNTINGBURG — Robin S. Hanebutt, daughter of Julie Hanebutt of Huntingburg and Clint Hanebutt of Petersburg, was awarded an associates degree in radiography from the Indiana University School of Medicine in May 2018 and a bachelor’s degree in medical imaging technology from the IU School of Medicine in May during an indoor commencement ceremony for Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianpolis at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Hanebutt graduated with highest honors in radiography and was named on the dean’s list numerous times between the fall term of 2015 and the spring term of 2019.
Her degree includes more than 1,200 hours of clinical work, as well as five hospital rotations in the greater Indianapolis area.
She is a member of the Lambda Nu National Honor Society, Indiana Psi IU School of Medicine chapter.
Hanebutt has been working as a diagnostic and computed tomography technologist at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper since May 2018.
Hanebutt is a 2015 graduate of Southridge High School and lives in Dale with her fiancé, Tyler Nelson. and golden doodle, Luna.
