Groups work to beautify Jasper

Throughout the summer of 2019, several groups combined efforts to plant flowers in the 17 large flower pots lining main street in downtown Jasper.

With the work of Joe Buehler and Stan Jochum, along with Family Roots Nursery, the flower pots provided a connection from the south side to the north side of main street. Many businesses along that path volunteered to keep the plants watered during the summer months.

Financial assistance for the flowers was provided by the Greater Downtown Jasper Business Association, Patoka 2000 and the Jasper Strassenfest Committee.
