Groups to receive grant from state

INDIANAPOLIS — Five organizations in Dubois County will receive a grant to help support their operations, Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch announced Thursday.

They are among 479 organizations receiving almost $10 million through the state Arts, Cultural and Destination Marketing Organization grant program. The program is a partnership between the Indiana Destination Development Corporation and the Indiana Arts Commission, to provide operational support to local organizations whose operations were disrupted by COVID-19.

The organizations in the county that will receive funds are City of Jasper Arts Department, $32,600.71; Visit Dubois County Inc., $26,033.68; Dubois County Museum, $19,480.01; Next Act Inc., $12,792.54; and Jasper Strassenfest, $10,605.02.
