Greta Rose Beaty, 80, of French Lick, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018, at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick.
She was born in Orange County on August 15, 1937, to William Lemuel and Margret F. “Elkins” Conrad
Greta married George A. Beaty Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Warren Lynn, Allen and Howard “Coonie” Conrad; and one sister, Elsie Butler.
Greta was a member of the Red Quarry Christian Church and enjoyed reading, walking and traveling.
She was a 1955 graduate of French Lick High School and retired from the French Lick Springs Hotel.
Greta is survived by two daughters, Debra Land (Harold), French Lick, and Holli Land (Darrel), Jasper; two sons, George “Andy” Beaty Jr., French Lick, and Robert “Doug” Beaty, French Lick; one sister, Margaret Sue Brothers, Bloomington; four grandchildren; and six great–grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date, with burial to follow in the Crystal Community Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service, French Lick.
