Gordon Wayne Bell, Sr, 76, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 9th, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Indiana.
He was born in Paoli, Indiana on January 16th, 1945 to John Norman Bell and Betty Louise (Roach) Bell.
Gordon married Dixie Hawkins on April 5th, 1963 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; (1) Brother – Keith; and (1) Son – Wesley.
Gordon was a 1963 graduate of Shoals High School and retired from NWCS Crane.
He is survived by: Wife Dixie Hawkins Bell French Lick, Indiana; (1) Son Gordon Bell, Jr. French Lick, Indiana; (1) Brother Randall Bell (Len) French Lick, Indiana; (1) Sister Linda Allen Jasper, Indiana; (3) Granddaughters Chelsey Bell (Matt Allen), Brittany Brown (Nathan), and Bridgette Bell; (1) Grandson Mercator Bell; (2) Great-Grandsons Greyson and Tommy Brown.
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted on Thursday, May 13th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick, Indiana.
