Gladys Prow, 89, of French Lick, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Springs Valley Meadows.
She was born on March 26, 1929, in Orange County to Ralph and Maggie (McFarland) Brown.
Gladys married Roy Prow on June 26, 1953, and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1975.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Debbie Prow.
Gladys graduated from French Lick High School with the Class of 1947.
She was a member of the West Baden Springs First Baptist Church. Gladys enjoyed sewing, embroidery and most all others crafts. She deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Prow (Donna), French Lick; and Ed Prow (Judy), French Lick; one daughter, Becky Hankins (John), French Lick; one sister, Ethel Crowe, French Lick; six grandchildren, James Hankins, Marcus Prow, Edwin Prow, Christopher Prow, Sam Prow and Brittany Hankins; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and a private committal service will be held at a later date at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick.
