November 2, 2020Geraldine M. Hastings, 74, Brownsburg, passed away October 30, 2020.

She worked as a nurse for American Health Network, Brownsburg, for many years and was a long-time member of St. Malachy Catholic Church. Geraldine was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority, loved to play bridge in several bridge clubs, and most of all spending time with her granddaughters and family.
Her husband, Dr. James Hastings, preceded her in death. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she was survived by her sons James (Angela) Hastings and Patrick Hastings; granddaughters Kayla and Ella; sisters Sue (Clyde) Kissling and Glenda (Mike) Edele; brothers Ron (Vicki) Fischer, Steve (Jeni) Fischer, Al (Janessa) Fischer, Randy (Sharon) Fischer, and Frank (Joan) Fischer Jr.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm Wed. Nov. 4 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Funeral services will be at 10:30am Thursday Nov. 5 at St. Malachy Catholic Church. Burial, next to her husband, will be in St. Malachy Cemetery, Brownsburg. In compliance with current restrictions and regulations, guests are required to wear masks and observe social distancing.
