Genieve Rose Pieper, 90, Jasper, died at 9 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at The Timbers of Jasper.
She was born in Peru, Ind., on Feb. 3, 1923, to Dennis and Mary Alice (Kisman) Fisher. She married Vernon Pieper on Oct. 29, 1972. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are son Marty Kintner and wife Mary Ann of Peru; three stepsons, Jim Pieper and wife Lois of Sandborn, Bill Pieper and wife Pam and Fred Pieper and wife Karen; stepdaughter Carol Etmeier and husband Loni of Sandborn; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Kintner, and two daughters, Susan A. Reynolds and Sandy See.
Mrs. Pieper retired from Keller Aluminum in 1986. She was a member of Sandborn United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sandborn Cemetery. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.
