Gary Ray Kuebler, 74, Jasper

Gary Ray Kuebler, 74, of Jasper, passed away at 3:35 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at home.

Gary was born in Jasper, on September 24, 1943, to Charles W. and Alma (Krodel) Kuebler Wagoner. His father Charles was killed in WWII in 1945.

He was a truck driver for Holland Dairy and then for Tri-State Live Haul.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, the Sons of the American Legion, Winslow, and Jasper Outdoor Recreation.

He enjoyed playing cards, visiting the casino ,was an avid NASCAR Fan, and he collected Zippo Lighters.

Surviving are six children, Bret Kuebler, Huntingburg, Ann Smith, Jasper, Barb (Rex) Gibson, Jasper, Brenda Loveless, and her companion, Keith Traylor, Velpen, Charles (Joanie) Kuebler, Jasper, and Paula Fleck, Huntingburg; his mother, Alma Kuebler Wagoner, Jasper; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Karen (Edward) Young, Jasper, Sandi (Ernie) Conley, Washington, Donna Thompson, Tell City, and Jayne (Tim) Mattingly, Henderson, Kentucky.

Preceding him in death are his father, Charles W. Kuebler; one grandson, Cody Lee Anderson; one sister, Elaine Schipp; and one brother, Ronald Kuebler.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gary R. Kuebler will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.
