Give Where You Live is hosting events throughout Jasper today for donations benefitting the Jasper Cultural Center, Jasper Community Arts Commission, Astra Theatre and the Courthouse Square project. Participating in this morning’s community yoga class at German American Plaza was, clockwise from left, instructor Tina Drew, owner of Fire Horse Yoga, her mother Rosie Stroud, Helena Cooper, her 3-year-old son Laurence and husband Patrick, Emily Peak and Corina Mack, all of Jasper. “Everybody’s been so giving and generous,” said Mack, program coordinator at the Jasper Arts Center. “The arts are so important to our community, not only for tourism and sales, but also for the education and enrichment of our youth.” Sarah Ann Jump/The Herald
