    Tenth Street Elementary School third-grader Leighland Garriepy, portraying Davy Crockett, stood frozen as fifth-grader Blendon Virgo reached for Garriepy’s button in order to hear the third-grader’s first-person speech during Andrea Denu’s class’ “Historical Living Wax Museum” at the school in Jasper on Thursday. “Some of these students will recite their speeches over 100 times throughout the day,” Denu said.
