Fundraiser will help with medical bills

HUNTINGBURG — A benefit for Tina Strohmeyer-Mattingly will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Huntingburg Teen Outback.

Mrs. Mattingly was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. She is married with four children. Due to her illness, she is no longer able to work. She is having to travel several times a week for treatments. She is expected to have surgery in January. All proceeds from the benefit go directly to help pay for travel, medical bills, housing and any other necessities.

Bingo will be played at noon. A cornhole tournament will cost $10 per game; the prize is a half pot. Pizza will be served at lunch.

A family fun night begins at 4 p.m. The entry is $15 per person and $25 for a family up to five people. The entry fee includes all the fun (excluding haircuts being done done for donations). There will be dinner, a glo dance, arcade room, cornhole, face painting, pumpkin painting, door prizes, silent auction and more.
