Friends of the Ferdinand Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Ferdinand Library will hold their Second Saturday Basement Book Sale on Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Masks will continue to be required and social distancing enforced. Hand sanitizer will be available. The sale can be entered from either the library’s main floor or through the north side doors off the Community Center parking lot.

A special drawing will be held for Friends $5 Gift Certificates for use at an upcoming book sale.

The Friends appreciate all of the donations of gently-used books, puzzles, DVDs and CDs. We are especially in great need of donations of Westerns as the shelf is quite empty.  Donations can be left in the bin near the entrance to the library basement. Recently all proceeds from the sales were used by Library for the purchase of diversity books, VOX books, and Pre-K books.  A generous donation was also made for the Summer Learning Program.

Friends membership pamphlets are available at the sale and at the library’s main desk.  Stay in touch with the Friends through the Friends of the Ferdinand Library Facebook page. Numerous postings are made each month with pictures of featured items.
