Friday fire claims Honda Civic

JASPER — Units of the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department responded to the report of a vehicle fire Friday afternoon.
The 4:43 p.m. callout sent firefighters to Cherry Street and Kellerville Road where a Honda Civic was on fire, according to Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang.
The fire destroyed the car, but no owner information was immediately available, according to Hochgesang.
Four trucks and 18 firefighters were on the scene for 15 minutes.
