Free tax counseling availableFebruary 6, 2019
Generations is once again providing tax counseling for the elderly in Dubois County. This program provides free assistance to low income, elderly and special needs taxpayers in filling out both the federal and state tax forms.
Volunteers have completed their certification with the Internal Revenue Service, and they are now available to complete tax forms in Dubois County.
Arnold Habig Community Center, 1300 N. St. Charles Dr., Jasper, will help with taxes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays. To schedule an appointment, call 812-482-4455. The Jasper TCE coordinator is Bob Dilger.
Ferdinand Branch Library, 112 E. 16th St., will have counseling from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays. Call 812-309-4128 to schedule an appointment. The Ferdinand TCE coordinator is Mary Weyer.
Huntingburg Old Town Hall, 309 N. Geiger St., Huntingburg will have available from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays. Schedule an appointment by calling 812-683-2211. The Huntingburg TCE coordinator is Darin Kemp.
