Forest Products checking into faulty alarm

From Local Sources

JASPER — Units of the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department responded early Sunday to an alarm activation at a manufacturing facility.

There was no fire associated with the 3:08 a.m. callout to Forest Products Manufacturing Co. Inc., 512 E. 30th St., according to Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang. Instead, he said, the issue was found to involve a faulty alarm.

An alarm technician was being called in to address the matter.
