Forest Park teams in state tourney

The Forest Park 10U baseball team won their respective district by finishing with an undefeated 6-0 record and will now head to Fort Wayne this Thursday with a state title on the line.

The Forest Park 10U and 11U all-star baseball teams will begin their play in the Indiana state tournament this Thursday after winning their respective districts.

The 10U team went a perfect 6-0 to win the District 13 championship and will now head to Fort Wayne to play for the state tile while the 11U team will be playing at the Highland Baseball Fields in Evansville with their first game scheduled this Thursday against Hobart.

Members of the 10U team are Jaxon Lueken, Kade Welp, Collin Lorey, Luke Meunier, Jared Burger, Jaxon Welp, Kamden Partenheimer, Ben Rasche, Alex Fischer, Brendon Gutgsell, Maddox Geyer, Parker Wolf, Davin Pund and Jace Hasenour. Coaches are Chris Zink, Brian Partenheimer and Jay Burger.

Members of the 11U team are Jaden Bettag, Tyler Fetter, Grant Fleck, Bryson Frick, Caydan Leisman, Korbyn Persohn, Nolan Begle, Jose Cruz, Peyton Gray, Talon Rohleder, Aaron Tretter and Reece Wolf. Coaches are Bruce Fleck, Andy Rohleder and Ryan Begle.

The Forest Park 11U baseball team also won their respective district and will head to Evansville this Thursday to face Hobart for their next challenge.
