Forest Park moves to hybrid schedule
December 9, 2020By Herald Staff
FERDINAND — Forest Park Junior-Senior High School students will move to a hybrid schedule starting today.
The change is due to an increased number of COVID-19 cases, along with an increased number of students identified as close contacts, school officials said Wednesday in a press release.
Students will alternate between in-person instruction and virtual learning. The hybrid schedule will continue through Dec. 18. Plans for the start of the second semester (including athletic and all extracurricular activities) will be communicated at a later date and will be dependent on current numbers as Jan. 4 comes closer, officials explained.
Students at Ferdinand Elementary, Pine Ridge Elementary and Cedar Crest Intermediate schools will continue their normal schedule.
