FERDINAND — Forest Park Junior-Senior High School’s Class of 2021 will graduate at 2 p.m. Saturday at Buechler Arena. There will be 79 graduates in the class.
The class’ valedictorian is Molly Lusk; the salutatorian is Victoria Fetter.
Molly is the daughter of Kevin and Jennifer (Bottom) Lusk of Ferdinand.
She has participated in volleyball, tennis and the student council. Molly is the president of the National Honor Society, BETA Club and of her class.
She has received the academic honors award all four years, including the Tennis Mental Attitude Award, and has been named as a volleyball Academic All-State and Regional Academic All-Star.
She has received the Southwest Indiana Officials Association Scholarship, the Farbest Foods Academic Excellence Award, the Indiana University Provost Scholarship, and the Hudson and Holland Honors Scholarship.
Molly has been accepted to Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences and Hutton Honors College. She plans to study biochemistry before pursuing a doctorate in medicine.
Victoria is the daughter of Ron and Tina (Hassfurther) Fetter of Bretzville.
She has participated in dance, volleyball, Natural Helpers and BETA. She is the secretary of National Honor Society and student council.
Victoria has received the Forest Park Academic Award all four years of high school, Academic All-State Award for volleyball and PAC Academic Award for volleyball. She has also received the Best Teammate Award for volleyball.
Victoria has received the David L. Rice Scholarship from University of Southern Indiana along with the Dean's scholarship for academic excellence. She has also received the Dubois County Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarship.
After graduation, Victoria plans to attend USI to pursue a bachelor's degree in social work before moving on to achieve her master's of social work. She will also minor in Spanish and psychology.
