Forest Park Girls Tennis recently held its banquet, and gave out the following awards.

Mental Attitude: Kenzie Schulz

Co-MVP: Molly Lusk and Kaylee Uebelhor

Most Improved: Payton Dilger

Jasper Youth Wrestling excels

Some Jasper wrestlers placed at the National Central Regional Freestyle and Greco Wrestling Champonships held Saturday and Sunday in Fort Wayne.

Hayden Mullins, 9, won both the Freestyle and Greco in the 10U age group.

Jeb Prechtel, 16, took second in Greco and finished 3-2 in Freestyle as an 18U competitor. As a result of qualifying in the top four, Prechtel has qualified for the 2021 US Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D. this summer.

Hall of Fame to be closed this weekend

The Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame will be closed this Saturday and Sunday for Memorial Day Weekend, but it will be open for the regular hours of 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Sectional tickets on sale

Tickets are available for the scheduled 6:30 sectional baseball game between Heritage Hills and Boonville Thursday at the University of Evansville. A limited number of tickets are available in the high school main office. Tickets are $6 and will be sold from 9 a.m. — 2 p.m. today, Wednesday and Thursday, or until they're sold out. Tickets will not be available at the gate.
