The Forest Park Band Boosters held their monthly meeting on Monday, July 5, 2021. President Brandon Berg welcomed boosters. A motion was made to approve the minutes of the last meeting by Duane Lory and second by Carol Lichtey. Michelle Kieper gave the treasurer's report.
Brandon Berg reported that the can and paper drive will be Saturday, July 10, at 9:00 a.m. and new committee members are needed.
Erin Sprinkle reported that the raffle tickets are being printed and making sure she has a full roster. New band parents need to send their driver license number to the band booster email so that they can sell the raffle tickets.
Duane Lorey reported that the sign up genius went out for all members to sign up to work the 4-H fair which is July 11-17.
Brandon Berg reported that we received a semi load from Best Chairs for the Flea Market. The flea market will be held Aug. 6 and 7, set up for the Flea Market is Aug. 4 and 5.
Brandon Berg reported that there is no new information about the mattress sale which is set for Aug. 21.
Brandon Berg reported that the tentative date for Night with the Marching Rangers is Nov. 19.
Michelle Kieper reported that as soon as she gets a full roster she will be working on a roster for the football concession.
John Brosmer reported that the trailer is getting detailed and the big trailer is getting a DOT inspection. The gong and the rest of the equipment will need new tires soon but the speakers have 8 new tires.
Brandon Berg announced, after conferring with Mr. Obermeyer, that students will not be going to DCI finals and will not have practice the weekend of Labor Day.
Michelle Kieper made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Erin Sprinkle seconded the motion.
The next meeting will be Friday, July 30 at 6:30 in the Forest Park cafeteria, before the community performance.
