These summaries of the Dubois County Health Department’s inspection reports are made public after the restaurants and food stores have had 10 days to respond. Dorothea Dix Home (Southern Hills), 1002 E. 10th St., Huntingburg, one noncritical violation, dishwasher in kitchen observed to be in need of repair leaving the facility with only two ware washing steps; management has a service agent coming on Oct. 16.
El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant, 101 Place Road, Jasper, one noncritical violation, three-door prep fridge observed at temperature of 47 degrees; manager will monitor it.
Fazoli’s #1675, 703 Third Ave., Jasper, three noncritical violations: units in the production area, topping tables, upright fridge and freezer observed to have food build up; nonfood contact surfaces in the kitchen area floors, shelves, casters showing signs of built-up dirt and debris; wall by back exit door, open electrical outlet and door to fridge underneath the front register appear to be in need of repair.

Hot Spot Bar & Grill, LLC, 5416 Main St., Dubois, two critical violations: hand-washing sink observed not being cleaned and maintained (food items in handwash sink), food contact items being stored directly on floor; needs floor repair, potatoes for cooling.
Huntingburg Country Club Inc., 739 W. Third St., Huntingburg, no violations.
Kim’s Koffee, 410 Fourth St., Huntingburg, no violations, OK to operate; service sink for mopping and cleaning still being installed.
Latin Cuba Restaurant, 314 Newton St., Jasper, two critical violations: facility has no certified food manager, observed most products in walk-in cooler with no lids; one noncritical violation, kitchen area has only one light working.
Los Dos Charros Mexican Restaurant, 406 E. 22nd St., Huntingburg, one critical violation: some ready-to-eat products in fridges (salsa, onions, cheese) without dating system; one noncritical violation, hand-washing sink observed to have food particles and dishes in it.

Taco Bell #3001094 (Ferdinand), 420 S. Main St., Ferdinand, one noncritical violation: observed heavy residue buildup on drink nozzles in drive-through area.
Wendy’s #340, 480 S. Main St., Ferdinand, three critical violations: observed potentially hazardous food items cold held at approximately 48 F, observed significant dirt, grease and food debris throughout establishment, debris on food and nonfood contact surfaces, significant water contamination noted near south facing wall; two noncritical violations, observed accumulation of dead pests near south facing wall, food debris buildup noted on microwave hood.
Wings Etc., 3683 N. Newton St., Jasper, two critical violations: food observed to be uncovered in reach-in freezer near grills, foods in sandwich topping coolers observed without dates; one noncritical violation, handwash sink near ware-washing station observed to only reach 89 F degrees.
