These summaries of the Dubois County Health Department's inspection reports are made public after the restaurants and food stores have had 10 days to respond. Arnie’s Tavern, 4469 Ohio St., St. Anthony, no violations.
Denny’s 3850 Newton St., Jasper, three critical violations: sliced ham stored in pull-out fridge drawer by the wall has no date/same drawer has expired sliced turkey, multiple storage containers and drawers have heavy buildup and should be changed out and cleaned on a regular basis, floor drains, burners on stoves and behind fryers have heavy buildup (critical violations have been corrected), one non-critical violation: fridges under prep cook station have heavy buildup of condensation water and all holding units have heavy buildup of dirt, food and debris.
Mac-A-Doo and Out of Bounds, 1163 Wernsing Road, Jasper, no violations.
Rally’s, 368 U.S. 231, Jasper, one critical violation: burger freezer by grill has broken gaskets causing moisture to drip on products, three non-critical violations: three-compartment sink pipes are leaking, walk-in freezer door is not shutting properly causing ice to build up on the door and center of freezer, floor and drains throughout facility have built-up grease, food, dirt and debris.

Circle “A” Food Mart, 3969 E. State Road 64, St. Anthony, no violations.
Huck’s, 230 Third Ave., Jasper, two critical violations: walk-in fridge, sandwich prep table and kitchen floor are showing signs of food, dirt buildup, raw bacon being stored above ready-to-eat food in single-door fridge in kitchen.
