Allyson Mudd of Loogootee helps her daughter, Annalise, 2, hold the family’s newest addition, Amelia, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper on Wednesday. The daughter of Allyson and Aaron Mudd, Amelia was the first baby born in Dubois County in the new year. She was born at 2:51 p.m. on Tuesday. Amelia weighed 5 pounds and 15 ounces and was 20 inches long.
