Firefighters called to weather-related event

HUNTINGBURG — Units of the Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to a weather-related event west of Huntingburg after a Wednesday night storm.

The 9:52 p.m. callout to the 6200 block of West State Road 64 involved a burning tree limb on an electric line, according to Fire Chief Scott Patberg.

Two trucks responded and firefighters were on the scene about 30 minutes.
